Chapter 1 · Rice masks
Found me through a video?
A video fits one recipe. This is the whole method.
In 40 seconds I show you one recipe, without the measurements or the cautions. In the book, each one has its own page: what you need, how to make it, how long to leave it on and what to avoid. Masks, toners, exfoliation and night care, organized by chapter, so you can open it and know exactly what to do tonight.
You don't have bad skin. You have the wrong recipe, done once in a while.
Your skin feels drier and tight. It loses its glow and starts to look dull. You wake up puffy, looking tired. Then comes the $80 jar from the department store that promises everything and ends up in the back of a drawer. Or the pretty recipe from the internet, made on Sunday and forgotten by Monday. What Korea does differently isn't a product: it's a sequence. Cleanse gently, rice essence, the right mask for your skin, and seal it in at night. Repeated. That's the glass skin secret, and it trips on three mistakes:
1
The wrong recipe for your skin
The mask made for oily skin feels tight on dry skin; the one for dry skin feels heavy on oily skin. That's why every recipe in the book says who it's for, and the patch test on your inner arm comes before every new recipe.
2
Doing it once and stopping
A Sunday mask doesn't change your skin. Repeating does. With 50 recipes, one per page, you choose by what's already in your kitchen and repeat the one your skin liked.
3
Scrubbing, leaving it on too long, mixing everything
Scrubbing hard, letting the mask dry until it pulls, using acids during the day. Every page gives you the right time, the right way to apply it and the caution that matters.
Who it's for
This book is for you if…
your skin looks duller and less firm than it used to
you wake up with a puffy, tired-looking face
you want to care for your skin naturally, without looking overdone
you've spent money on expensive jars and saw no difference
you prefer kitchen recipes with grocery-store ingredients
you want a new recipe every week without getting lost
you have 10 minutes per recipe, not an hour
you're over 50 and think it's too late
It's not for you if you're looking to treat a skin condition: inflamed acne, rosacea, dermatitis and melasma call for a dermatologist. And it isn't a cosmetic procedure: it's care at home.
What's inside

Chapter 1 · Rice masks
Rice and green tea mask
A fresh feel and that just-washed look.
20 min
medium
You'll need
rice flour, or rice ground in a blender2 tbsp
strong green tea, cooled3 tbsp
white kaolin clay1 tsp
How to make it
Brew 1 green tea bag in 1/2 cup of hot water and let it cool.
Mix the clay and the rice flour in a glass or ceramic bowl.
Add the tea a little at a time until you have a cream.
How to useApply a thin layer for 10 minutes. Rinse before it dries. Once a week.
Take careDon't use metal utensils with the clay. If the mask dries and feels tight, mist your face with water before rinsing.
Chapter 3 · Toners and essences
Fermented rice water essence
The Korean classic: a healthy glow and soft skin.
24 h
easy
You'll need
white rice4 tbsp
water1 cup
How to make it
Rinse the uncooked rice quickly and pour off the first water.
Add the cup of water, cover and leave it at room temperature for 24 hours.
Strain and refrigerate. A slightly sour smell is normal.
How to useSweep over clean skin with a cotton pad, once a day. Keeps up to 5 days in the fridge.
Take careIf it smells rotten or moldy, throw it out. In hot weather, 12 hours is enough. Diluted half and half with water, it is gentler on sensitive skin.

If you made it here, you've probably seen my videos, making skin recipes in my kitchen.
I'm 58. I grew up in Seoul and have lived in Los Angeles for most of my adult life. In my mother's kitchen, skincare was never a product. It was rice, green tea, honey and yogurt, used a little at a time, every day.
I'm not a dermatologist. This book is the 50 recipes I use most, one per page, with the exact measurements and the cautions, so you can choose yours and repeat it.
I ask one thing: do a patch test before every new recipe. Every skin is different, and what works for me may not work for you.

Frequently asked questions
Soo-Jin answers.
Is this just another internet recipe?
They're kitchen recipes, yes, and that's why there are no miracle promises: no “10 years younger,” no “goodbye Botox.” What the book does is organize: 50 recipes with the right measurements, the right timing, who each one is for and a patch test before every new recipe. If it's not for you, you have 7 days to get every cent back.
I already saw the recipe in the video. Why buy the book?
A video shows one recipe, once, without the measurements or the cautions. The book has all 50, each on its own page, organized by chapter, with what you need, how to make it, how long to leave it on and what to avoid. Consistency is what changes how your skin looks, not one random mask. And you get the 2 bonuses: the 21-night plan and 24 beauty teas and drinks.
I'm over 60. Will it still help?
The recipes were made with mature skin in mind: oats, honey, yogurt, rice water and night care. With consistency, what to expect is glow, hydration and a more rested, even look. Results vary from person to person.
Does it remove wrinkles? Does it replace Botox or a procedure?
No, and I won't promise you that: Botox and procedures are a conversation with your dermatologist. What the routine gives you, night after night, is something else: skin that feels softer, more glow and hydration, a face that wakes up looking rested instead of puffy. No needles, and no overdone look.
What ingredients do I need?
All from the grocery store: rice, rice flour, honey, oats, yogurt, green tea, chamomile, cucumber, papaya, aloe, kaolin clay, almond oil. Each recipe has three ingredients at most, and the page tells you what you need.
My skin is sensitive. Can I do this?
Every recipe comes with a patch test on your inner arm: 10 minutes that tell you whether your skin accepts it. If you have rosacea, dermatitis, inflamed acne, use acids, or are pregnant, show the book to your dermatologist first.
How do I get it? Is it safe?
It's a PDF: access to all 3 books arrives in your email as soon as your payment is approved, to read on your phone or print. Nothing ships by mail. Secure one-time payment through Kiwify, no subscription, with a 7-day guarantee.
